To support Education Bureau Department’s initiative in enriching the content of Tourism Management studies in secondary schools, ANTOR members were invited to present tourism related topics on our destinations. The series of presentations aim at providing more in-depth knowledge of our various destinations to secondary school teachers who in turn will teach our next generations on issues about world tourism development. 16 Jun 2008 ANTOR members gathered together in front of our booth at International Travel Expo 2008. This year's expo is held on 12-15 June. Our booth is decorated with our members' editorials on ANTOR column featured in Weekend Weekly. Moreover, promotional videos of our member countries were shown to public who wants to know more about our destinations. A seminar was held at the Expo on trade day to tell trade visitors and media more about our organization. We received good feedback from trade and public at the Expo.

10 Apr 2008 3 Mar 2008 The Association of National Tourist Office Representatives in Hong Kong
Opens its First One-Stop Information Centre at BC MallMacau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) in Hong Kong invited all ANTOR members to a Familiarization Tour to Macau on 4th September 2007. The purpose of this tour is to update members with the Macau’s cultural attractions and latest development. The day started with a Heritage Tour with visits to Ruins of St. Paul’s, Na Cha Temple, Section of the Old City Walls, Casa Garden, Protestant Cemetery, St. Anthony’s Church. Following the ANTOR meeting in Tourism Activities Centre, participants had lunch with MGTO senior officials including Director Joao Manuel Costa Antunes for exchange of ideas. The afternoon was spent visiting new developments including Cotai Strip & Venetian, Wynn Resort, Crown Macau, Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. It was a fun and eductaional day out, and once again, thanks MGTO for their hospitality.
ANTOR participated in this year's International Travel Expo in HK Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 4-day event from 14-17 Jun attracted many visitors to our booth. At the same time, we launched our ANTOR slogan design competition. The winning entry is chosen, and the winner will be contacted in Sep to collect the prizes.
